A Buffalo law enforcement officer was caught on online video shoving a 75-yr-aged person to the ground, triggering him to bang his head on the sidewalk and start out bleeding from the again of skull.

Governor Andrew Cuomo said in a tweet he agreed the cops need to be suspended.

“This incident is wholly unjustified and completely disgraceful,” Cuomo tweeted.

“I’ve spoken with Buffalo @MayorByronBrown and we agree that the officers associated need to be instantly suspended pending a formal investigation. Law enforcement Officers must implement — NOT ABUSE — the law,” he added.

Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz stated in a tweet Thursday night that the footage “sickens” him.

“I’ve witnessed videos of the incident in front of Buffalo’s City Hall in which an more mature protester seems to have been shoved by police, fell backwards and suffered a significant head injuries,” he wrote.

“It sickens me. I’ve verified he is at ECMC in stable condition. My ideas are with him now,” he additional.

The incident transpired soon just after a protest completed in the region where five folks ended up arrested.
