Packers Hall of Fame member Willie Davis has died at the age of eighty five in Playa del Rey, Calif.

The Professional Football Hall of Fame shared the news Wednesday on Twitter.

Davis began his occupation with the Cleveland Browns ahead of getting traded to the Environmentally friendly Bay Packers.

He played 10 seasons with the Packers as defensive end below Corridor of Fame Mentor Vince Lombardi.

Davis won two Tremendous Bowls with the group.

“I loved finding to know Willie and his spouse, Carol, in particular when he served as our honorary captain for the 2010 NFC Championship activity and Tremendous Bowl XLV, and once again for the 2014 NFC Championship recreation,” Packers President/CEO Mark Murphy reported. “He also was a great part product for our gamers, acquiring long gone on to a quite profitable job right after soccer and serving on the Packers Board of Directors.”
