LA County records highest-ever temperature – CNN


(CNN)Los Angeles County recorded its best-at any time temperature Sunday as the weekend heat fanned wildfires throughout California and put additional strain on the state’s electric power network.

The emergency powers enable the DOE to modify energy manufacturing and distribution for the duration of the disaster.
