Biden blasts McConnell claim about Obama pandemic prep as a ‘Bunch of malarkey’ – Fox News


Former Vice President Joe Biden slammed Senate Bulk Chief Mitch McConnell, R-Ky. Tuesday, accusing him of spreading “malarkey” about the Obama administration’s preparation for pandemics like the coronavirus outbreak.

Biden was referring to a sixty nine-page document compiled in 2016 by the National Stability Council (NSC). According to Politico, which noted on the doc in March, the Obama administration developed the playbook as a way to prevent a repeat of perceived problems by globe leaders all through the 2014-fifteen ebola outbreak.

Neither McConnell’s office nor the Trump campaign quickly responding to Fox News’ requests for comment. A previous NSC official, on the other hand, instructed Politico that the doc was inadequate.
