Airline opens restaurant serving their airplane food


Malaysian lower-value airline AirAsia has opened a food items court cafe at a shopping mall in Kuala Lumpur. Referred to as Santan, the cafe serves the exact meals as what is actually on the airline’s in-flight menu. Above the upcoming 5 yrs, AirAsia be expecting to open up more than one hundred other Santan destinations all around the world. From WHDH:

Entrees expense all around $three USD and involve regional delicacies these as chicken rice and the airline’s signature Pak Nasser’s Nasi Lemak dish, a rice dish with chilli sauce. Locally sourced coffee, teas and desserts are also on the menu.

“We have witnessed a significant urge for food for our in-flight menu offerings beyond our flights throughout the region and this is our respond to to that desire,” the brand’s basic supervisor Catherine Goh reported in a push release.
