10 animals were killed in a fire at the African Safari Wildlife Park in Ohio – CNN


(CNN)Ten animals were being killed when a fire broke out Thursday at the African Safari Wildlife Park in northern Ohio, Danbury Township law enforcement explained.

Firefighters were known as to the Port Clinton park at six:fifteen p.m. immediately after studies of a fireplace at a barn housing animals, the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Business office and park officials stated.
3 giraffes, 3 red river hogs, 3 bongos and a springbok had been within the barn before the hearth, Officer Carolyn DeMore with the Danbury Township Law enforcement instructed reporters. A bongo is a massive forest antelope and the springbok is a medium-sized, gazelle-like antelope.
